Back to Krakow / English

Yes it happened. We were in Krakow again. From 19.02 until 23.02 Sylvia and I allowed as a trip to Krakow. The flight was very cheap (only 65 Euro). We stayed overnight at Nathans Villa Hostel. But let us start from beginning.

The Preparation
How you preparate yourself for Kakrow?
None.
At least not much.
I just bought some small sized wash-things to save place and weight. My baggage was a roomier backpack.

Because the flight started fom Dortmund, I slept at Sylvias place. We had a drink to celebrate. In the morning we were driven to the airport ... blah blah go on to the intresting things.

The Duty
Sylvia stopped the whole traffic, because she had to take off her shoes.

In Krakow
The flight was very fast, and we checked in in our Hostel. The Hostel is near the Wawel, so we had a good connection.
And what to do first in Krakow?
Go have lunch at Babcia Malia. Mmmh that was so good....Pierogiiii!!!
I also get in contact with my friend Paul, because I wanted that he meets us these days. He wanted to meet us just at the first day, so we had someone to go out. Paul introduced us Paulina his girlfriend. We gone to the Club PAUZA. Nothing has changed ther. It's so great. There was a wonderful exhibition there. After that the two showed us another Club...I can't remember his name ..."U Kusina"???
Paul and Paulina had to go early, because they had to work next day. So we went to Ministerwstwo without them. It changed a little bit. The nice kiss-sofa and thedomina armchair weren't there. What a pity. The club lost a little bit his charakter.

The next days we had plans, or maybe not. I know just that we walked a lot, and now we have stand calves. Shopping was the importend thing of course. We buyed Wodka. What else? Poland have Wodka from all over the world. There are lots of Wodkas that we used in our Wodka Project. Sylvia had an eye on the 1 L Wyborowa Excuisite. But the price of 120 zl is not made for Students. We two bought the cheaper Danzka Wodka. A good buy.

On Wendsday we were on a piano concert. We invited Paulina to go with us. The concert was in the golden hall. There was only one Piano and chairs. The man played impressive. He played without notes and with sensational finger acrobatic. Alas the room was bad aerated and once or twice my eyelids fall down. After the concert we showed Paulina FAUST. While the two girls bought a beer, I ordered a viscous, hot chocolate. Hmm what a gusto.
Unhappily the two wanted to buy a Pizza, after the pleasure of my choclate. So we bought two Pizza for three. I couldn't eat much...but it was so good.
After this feast we accompany Paulina to the bus and made then a trip to Carpe Diem. We didn't stayed long, because after the boy checked, that I checked, that I have checked him and the other boy started to slobber Sylvias hand we knew that it was midnight -> the bordel was open.
Who wants to see the nice sides of Carpe Diem should go there bevor 24h when no one is drunken.

On Thursday we gone to Tesco, where we bought food and alcohol. We bought each two 2 L Coca Colas only because of the special glass in Krakow style. We have all thought-out. The Colas were a gift for Paul and Paulina. Because of this food shopping we were done and just ares around. I only remember that we played chess at midnight an a drunken (what else) Englishman (there were only people from England in the Hostel) and a bit drunk Polishman brabbled about who has stardes the Nazi-War. Aha. Yes. Good night.

Next day we had a problem. We agreed with Paul to go to the 3D cinema and then to his place. Unfortunately ther was a 8L problem. To move around the whole day with 8L without capsize? Impossible.
But nothing is impossible for Anja and her backpack. One Cola stayed in Hostel but instead there was place for a Big-Chrupki-Pack. So we started to the Krakow Plaza. We never were so far away from the old city. The Krakow Plaza is a little bit like Galeria Krakowska. The style is polish-romantic. There were a lot of shops and where shops are there are also Restaurants. We thought. My arse.

Mc Donalds

The biggest collapse ever. We are in Poland an eat at Mc Donalds.
But to tell the truth I didn't care. My knees were slobber because of the 6L drinking and chrupki. So give me that damned Chicken burger.

After that we gone to the I-Max cinema. It was a very good documetary in 3-D. The screen was enormous. And the glasses dirty.
After this expierence I was afraid, that a plant could attack me from the side ; )

At Paul an Paulinas home, we get cucumbers, herring and 1L Wodka Bols. We meet also the small roomie "BU". After some shots the atmosphere was super and we made some nice pics. anytime the 1L bottle was empty and we up to scratch. With the last night bus we drove into the old town. With the empty backpack we started a bar hop. We went to Pauza, where else. At 3.40 they kicked us out of the club. Philistines. There were other people. Tz
We tried to get in to Prozak. The didn't let us in, because thery also wanted to close.

At Saturday we packed the baggage. We had lunch in the vegetarian bar. The remain time we wanted to spend in Galeria Krakowska (because we could leave the baggage in the hostel). On the way I wanted to buy cigarettes. After I tried to jew down 1 zl and it didn't worked I bought the packages. Sylvia had an sense of achievement in the shoe shop under the bridge. She finally bought the red shoes. I hope I will get in the next time a picture for my blog.
In the Galeria we had the brilliant idea to go to the hairdresser. I had made a layered haircut. There was no diffrence than earlier. I look like I look always.

While I get the inable hairdresser, Sylvia get the drippy hairdresser. She was so slowly during the blow-dry, that I liked to stick the blower into her ass that she had a kickup. Okay so the visit at Cafe Camera was cancelled. *boo-hoo*
Therefore we gone to Michalski to visit Paulina. She works there and we get a free cake. yum

On the way to our baggage we bought a ticket at the ticket automat for the tramway (Yes, thats the truth. There are ticket automates in Krakow, sponsored by the EU. Over the time of the kiosk-mafia, that only had tickets if they wanted)

At the airport there are some new things, for example the duty free shop. And this time I had to put off my shoes.

Let's see who is the one that will take off the shoes next time if it's time againfor: Back to Krakow

My Life hat gesagt…

Czesc Little Anja,

You're so funny! I like the story. Especially that is about wodka Krakow. Strange! I don't think that wodka is the only things that makes you think about Krakow. I have better memories... hope so! However, for remembering Krakow I've tasted few glasses with Wyborowa in an Irish pub. Tasty! Actually it's the only type of polish wodka that you can buy from the market. Zubrowka is very rare and expensive as a Wyborowa... mmh! No apple juice..
Hope we'll meet on the downtown somewhere around the Wawel castle... who knows when!
Zdruwko!

ani hat gesagt…

NO...Wodka isn't the only thing that makes me think about Krakow. But one of the things : )
But the importants thing are the people that I met in Krakow. You ar one of them : )
